Size matters to me.
The smaller the better. I need a camera to be
small, light, and compact.
to me, but not the way most may think.
The 17mm f2.8 lens is my favourite lens, it's small, it's 35mm field of view,
has decent image quality, and decently
fast aperture at f2.8. This is the
most hated and lowest rated lens for the
micro-fourthirds system, but I love it.
Sony 16-50mm f3.5-5.6
I have bought and sold more Sony's than any
other camera brand. On paper they are always one of
the best cameras. In reality some of the old-school
manufacturers like Nikon, Canon, Olympus, and Fujifilm,
seem to just work better for me in terms of ergonomics.

Durability matters sometimes.
Sometimes I need a camera that's tough.
This one time... I landed wrong on a half-pipe and crushed
a camera between my snowboard and the half-pipe... it was the Fuji F30.
It survived but I figure I shouldn't push my luck.
